AI assistants

Your board, in your AI assistant.
Connected in a minute.

Connect AllScrum to Claude or ChatGPT, then just ask: what is on my plate today, create a bug for this, move CAR-12 to Done. You sign in once and choose what the assistant may do. No keys, no setup.

What you can do

Once connected, your assistant can look things up in AllScrum and make changes for you while you chat. For example:

  • "What's assigned to me that is due this week?"
  • "Summarize what changed in the Website project since Monday."
  • "Create a bug in WEB for this error, high priority, and assign it to me."
  • "Move CAR-12 to Done and add a comment that it shipped."
  • "Which backlog items have no estimate yet? Plan the top five into the next sprint."
  • "Turn these meeting notes into tasks in the Marketing project."

Tasks are easiest to mention by their key, like CAR-12, the same way you would to a colleague.

Connect Claude

In Claude on the web or in the desktop app:

  1. Open Customize → Connectors in Claude.
  2. Choose + Add → Add custom connector.
  3. Enter the name AllScrum and this URL, then choose Continue:
    https://allscrum.com/mcp
  4. Keep OAuth sign-in enabled. If Claude asks how to identify itself, choose Register automatically, then finish adding the connector and choose Connect. An AllScrum page opens: sign in if asked, choose what Claude may do, and click Allow.
  5. You're back in Claude. Start a new chat and ask something about your projects.

Claude supports custom connectors on Free and paid plans; Free is limited to one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner may need to add AllScrum for the organization first; after that, everyone connects their own account. The exact menu names can change; see Claude’s current connector guide.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins in ChatGPT on the web, select the + button, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Enter the name AllScrum and the server URL https://allscrum.com/mcp. Choose OAuth authentication and dynamic client registration (DCR) if asked; there is no client ID or secret to paste. Review the notice and choose Create as a plugin.
  3. Sign in to AllScrum when asked, choose what ChatGPT may do, and click Allow.
  4. Install the resulting plugin in your personal or workspace plugins. In a chat, type @ and select AllScrum, then ask about your work.

Availability depends on your account and workspace permissions. If the option is missing, check with your workspace admin and follow OpenAI’s current setup guide.

Other apps

AllScrum works with any assistant or coding tool that supports remote MCP servers. Give it the URL https://allscrum.com/mcp and it will ask you to sign in, just like Claude does. In Claude Code, for example:

claude mcp add --transport http allscrum https://allscrum.com/mcp

Then type /mcp in Claude Code and choose Authenticate. Tools that can't sign in this way can use an API key instead: see the developer guide.

What the assistant can do

When you connect, you choose one of two levels:

  • Read only: see your workspaces, projects, boards, tasks, comments, sprints, notes and history. It can't change anything.
  • Read and write: also create and change tasks, comments, checklists, epics, sprints, lanes and notes, move tasks, and delete tasks.

Either way, the assistant works as you: it only reaches projects you can open, and only does what you could do yourself. It can never:

  • see your password or sign-in methods,
  • change your account or settings,
  • delete projects or workspaces,
  • invite people or change who has access.

Everything it changes is recorded in the project history under your name, marked via API with the assistant's name, and most changes can be undone there.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings → API keys → Connected apps and choose Disconnect next to the assistant. It loses access immediately. You can connect it again later.

We email you whenever an app is connected to your account. If you get such an email and didn't connect anything, disconnect the app right away and change your password.

Troubleshooting

"This connection link doesn't work"

The assistant's connection details are out of date or incomplete. Remove AllScrum in the assistant's connector settings, add it again, and connect.

The assistant can look things up but not change them

You chose Read only. Disconnect it in your settings and connect again, choosing Read and write.

It suddenly asks me to connect again

That happens when the assistant wasn't used for 90 days, when it was disconnected in your settings, or when AllScrum disconnected it automatically because a sign-in code or token was used twice, which can mean someone copied it. Connect again; if you didn't expect this, check your account activity.

It's signed in to the wrong AllScrum account

The connection uses whichever account you were signed in with on the AllScrum page. Disconnect it, sign out of AllScrum in your browser, sign in with the right account, and connect again.

FAQ

Questions

Does this cost anything?

Not on the AllScrum side: every account can connect assistants. Your AI assistant may need a paid plan for custom connectors; check its own plans.

Can the assistant see all my data?

Only what you can open in AllScrum yourself: your projects and those shared with you. It never sees your password and can't change your account settings, delete projects or invite people.

Does it change things without asking?

The assistant decides when to use AllScrum, based on what you ask. Most assistants show you what they are about to do and ask for approval before making changes. If you only want it to look, choose Read only when you connect.

Can I undo something the assistant did?

Yes. Everything it changes appears in the project history, marked "via API", and most changes can be undone there with one click.

My team uses AllScrum too. Does each person connect?

Yes. A connection belongs to one person and works with their access. Each teammate connects their own assistant.

Is my data used to train AI models?

That depends on your AI assistant and its settings, not on AllScrum. Check your assistant's privacy settings; AllScrum only sends what the assistant asks for.
