Automation rules
Let AllScrum do the routine work: pick a ready-made rule, check its settings, and it runs from then on.
- NewAutomation in project settings, with ready-made rules: give new tasks in a lane a type and priority (Bugs become a High-priority Bug), assign a task to whoever moves it into In Progress, unassign done tasks, tell the person who asked for a task when it is done, and flag overdue tasks.
- NewRules fill in their own settings from your lanes, and you can change, pause or delete them any time.
- ImprovedWhat a rule changes shows in the history as made by Automation, and can be undone there. Webhooks send these changes too.
- NewManage automation rules through the REST API (/projects/{project}/automation-rules) and from Claude, ChatGPT or other AI assistants connected through MCP.
- ImprovedProject settings: the settings window gets wider for Automation, forms are listed as rows that open the form, and the workspace is picked from a menu with each workspace’s color.
Velocity and a project timeline
See how much your team gets done per sprint, and see your sprints and dated work on a timeline.
- NewVelocity on the Sprints tab: points committed at the start of each sprint next to points completed, for the last eight sprints, with the average to plan the next one. Also as a table.
- NewTimeline tab: sprints, and every task with a due date or a sprint, on twelve weeks, grouped by epic. Overdue work stands out; click a task to open it.
Peer feedback
Ask your team for feedback about each other, anonymous unless you choose otherwise.
- NewStart a feedback round from Meetings: pick who takes part, set a deadline, and change the questions. Everyone writes about the others; when you close the round, each person reads the feedback about them.
- NewRounds are anonymous by default: nobody sees who wrote what, not even admins, and answers about someone only show once at least two people wrote about them. Prefer names? Turn anonymous off for the round.
- NewProject admins can read everyone’s feedback; anonymous feedback still never shows who wrote it.
- NewTurn on “Peer feedback any time” in project settings to let teammates give each other feedback outside rounds, anonymously or with their name.
Postmortem templates, and moving projects by dragging
Shape each incident report around what your team needs, and move projects between workspaces from the dashboard.
- NewRename or remove any section of an incident postmortem, and add your own, each with an optional hint. New reports still start with the usual five.
- NewSave a postmortem’s sections as a template, and pick it when you start the next one. Templates are shared with your organization; the last one you used is picked again.
- ImprovedRename a postmortem by clicking its title.
- ImprovedEvery postmortem section is optional: publish with only the ones you filled in.
- NewDrag a project into another workspace on the dashboard, in the grid or the list. A message says who can open it there, with Undo.
- ImprovedProjects show as a list by default. Prefer tiles? Choose Grid and it stays that way.
- Fixed“Create workspace” did nothing while working in an organization.
A floating form button for your website
Let visitors send you a request from any page of your website, without leaving it.
- NewPut a form on your website as a button in the corner. It opens the form in a small panel; choose its text and corner, and copy one line of code.
- ImprovedPut a form’s questions in any order: the subject and description too, so a “Type” dropdown can come first.
- ImprovedLeaving out the description is clearer: choose “Don’t ask” next to it.
- NewThe subject can be optional or left out too. Without one, the task’s title is made from the description or the answers, and the Inbox shows it was.
Project statuses, and a wider project list
Give every project a status like Active, On hold or Completed, and see more of your projects at once.
- NewEvery project has a status. Change it from the project list with one click; owners and admins of the organization choose the statuses, their colors and order.
- NewStatuses are open, paused or closed. Closed projects leave the list unless you choose to show closed or all projects, and paused ones are dimmed.
- NewIn the list layout, choose your columns: status, owner, tasks, progress, last modified and created. Sort by any of them.
- ImprovedThe dashboard and workspace page now use the full width of your screen.
- ImprovedImports from Zoho Projects keep each project’s status, adding statuses you don’t have yet.
- ImprovedThe REST API and MCP tools show a project’s status and can change it.
Incident postmortem
Review incidents together and keep corrective work connected to what the team learned.
- NewStart an incident postmortem from Meetings: a shared report, chronological timeline and team observations, with optional named guest contributions.
- NewMove through Draft, Review and Published. Publishing saves the report in Meetings while corrective tasks stay open.
- ImprovedAsk AI can read incident reports and prepare improvement tasks for confirmation.
Subtasks
Split a task into smaller tasks with their own assignee, points and lane, when a checklist isn’t enough.
- NewTurn on Use subtasks in Project settings → Workflow. Checklists keep working next to them; it’s off by default, so projects stay as simple as before.
- NewIn a task, add subtasks, see how many are done, or make a task a subtask of another. Board cards show ↳ the parent on a subtask, and done/total on its parent.
- NewWork the subtasks right from their parent: change each one’s lane, priority and assignee, drag them into order, and follow a done / in progress / to do bar.
- NewTurn a checklist item into a subtask with one click, when it grows into real work.
- ImprovedImports from Jira, Asana and Zoho Projects keep subtasks linked to their parent, and turn subtasks on for the project.
- ImprovedThe REST API, MCP tools, exports and webhooks include the parent of a task; the API can create subtasks and list them by parent.
Forms, and the Inbox
Let clients and users send you requests without an account. Each one becomes a task.
- NewForms: build a request form in Project settings → Forms, with your own questions (short answer, paragraph, dropdown, checkboxes), and share its link or put it on your website. No account needed to fill it in.
- NewEach submission becomes a task in the lane you choose, with the type, priority and assignee you set, and the answers in its description. Owners, admins and the assignee are notified.
- NewThe Inbox: the Feedback tab is now called Inbox and shows form submissions, with who sent them and their email to reply, next to feedback from the read-only link. Mark things read for the whole team.
- ImprovedWebhooks can send a Form submitted event, with the sender and their answers.
- NewStyle each form: pick its color, a light or dark background, and add your own CSS.
- FixedOn forms, the name and email fields line up again when one of them has a hint underneath.
- ImprovedForms have their own page under Inbox · Forms, with the editor next to a live preview, instead of a long settings window.
- FixedNarrow dropdowns no longer show their arrow on top of the text.
Webhook filters, workspace webhooks and webhooks in the API
Send only the updates that matter, for one project or a whole workspace, and let your own apps set up their webhooks.
- NewWebhook filters: send only tasks in some lanes, assigned to some people (or unassigned), of some types or with some priorities. You also hear about a task leaving what you filter on, like moving out of Review.
- NewWorkspace webhooks: one webhook for every project in a workspace, in the workspace’s settings. It only sends projects its creator can open.
- NewManage webhooks through the REST API: create, change, pause, test, see deliveries and send them again. See the developer guide.
Webhooks for Slack, Discord, Telegram and your own apps
Get your project’s updates where your team already talks, or send them to your own tools as they happen.
- NewProject settings → Webhooks: post updates to a Slack or Discord channel or a Telegram chat. Paste a webhook URL (or a bot token and chat ID) and pick what to hear about.
- NewChoose from task created, edited, assigned, moved, completed, archived, restored and deleted, comments, read-only link feedback, sprints and epics.
- NewCustom webhooks send each change as signed JSON to your own app, in the same format as the REST API. See the developer guide.
- NewSend a test message, see recent deliveries with the response, and send any of them again. Failed deliveries are retried, and a webhook that keeps failing is paused and shows why.
REST API and AI connections
Connect an AI assistant to your work, or build your own integrations with the public REST API.
- NewA public REST API for projects, tasks, lanes, epics, sprints, comments, checklists, blockers and notes, with a developer guide and interactive reference.
- NewPersonal API keys in account settings: choose read only or read and write, set an expiry, limit allowed IP addresses and revoke a key at any time. Changes appear in history under your name, marked via API.
- NewAn MCP server lets compatible assistants and coding agents look up work, create and update tasks, and plan sprints. Connect through OAuth sign-in or an API key.
- NewOAuth connections let you sign in and choose what an assistant may do without copying a key. See and disconnect connected apps in Settings → API keys. Your assistant may require a particular plan or workspace permission for custom connections.
Epics across the board, backlog and sprints
Group related tasks around a larger goal and follow progress across sprints.
- NewAn Epics tab on every project: create goals with a description, color and status, then link existing tasks with a searchable picker.
- NewTask and story point progress includes archived tasks. Set the epic’s status separately; deleting an epic keeps its tasks.
- NewFilter the backlog by epic, drag tasks onto an epic to assign them, and recognize epic badges on board cards.
- ImprovedJSON exports include epics and task links to them.
Ask AI
Ask questions about your board, find what was said, brainstorm, and let AI draft tasks and lanes that you confirm.
- NewAsk AI: open it from the tab on any project and ask how the sprint is going, what is overdue or blocked, who has the most work, or what to pick up next. Task keys in answers are links.
- NewIt looks things up when it needs to: tasks finished or created in a period, archived tasks, a task's description, checklist and comments, and words in comments, even when they were written in another language.
- NewBrainstorm with it, or ask for advice: it weighs value, effort and priority and says why for each pick.
- NewAsk it to create tasks or lanes and it prepares them, with lane, type, priority, points, assignee and due date. Tick what you want and confirm; nothing is created before that. Lanes are only offered to owners and admins.
- NewYour chats are saved per project. Open an earlier one from History to read it again or carry on, or delete it.
- NewEvery answer shows the tokens it took, and the pane shows your chat's and this month's total. Every account has a monthly allowance.
- ImprovedYour board data only goes to AI providers that don't store it or train on it.
- ImprovedThe homepage, Why AllScrum and the comparisons now cover Ask AI, importing and exporting, and the comparison tables have an AI assistant row.
Import from Zoho Projects, Jira, Asana and Trello
Bring your projects, tasks and comments over from Zoho Projects, Jira, Asana or Trello in a few minutes.
- NewImport from Zoho Projects: upload the CSV exports of your projects and your tasks, check how statuses and people map onto AllScrum, and import. Open it from Import on the dashboard or in a workspace.
- NewThe upload step shows how to export from Zoho, with screenshots: pick csv and click "Move all" under Select columns. Excel files and exports without the project of each task are refused, and missing columns like descriptions or comments are pointed out before you import.
- NewImport from Jira Cloud: connect with your site, email and an API token (it isn't stored), and your projects, issues and comments come straight over. Issue types, priorities and Jira's project keys come along, and each status is suggested the lane that fits its kind in Jira.
- NewImport from Asana: connect with a personal access token (it isn't stored) and bring over your projects, tasks, subtasks and comments. The sections on your boards become statuses you map to lanes, and finished tasks land in Done.
- NewImports from Jira and Asana run one project at a time and show their progress, so big imports don't time out.
- NewExport: owners and admins can download a project, or a whole workspace, as CSV (for Jira, Asana, spreadsheets and most other tools) or as JSON (everything: tasks, comments, checklists, sprints, notes and meetings). Find it under Export in the project's or workspace's settings.
- NewImport from Trello: upload the JSON export of your boards, and each one becomes a project. Lists become lanes, archived cards come along as done, and checklists become real checklists. Labels like Bug or High priority set the type and priority.
- NewA status that has no lane on your board can get one of its own: pick “New lane” for it, and it's added before Done in every imported project that uses it.
- NewPick which projects come along, rename them and choose their keys. Each one becomes a new project with the board layout you choose.
- NewStatuses go to the lanes you pick, or are left out. Names in the export are matched to your teammates; names without an account stay on the task as text.
- NewDescriptions, priorities, due dates, comments and when tasks were created and finished come along. Finished tasks go straight to the archive.
- NewWhen a project last changed in Zoho comes along too, so sorting the project list by "Last modified" keeps working after an import.
- NewImporting the same project twice? The importer points out what you already brought over.
- NewSort the project list: click a column (project, tasks, progress or last modified) to sort by it, again to flip it, a third time for your own order. Your choice is remembered.
Meetings, favorites and a tidier inbox for feedback
Keep meeting notes next to the work they lead to, star the projects you use most, and work through visitor feedback like an inbox.
- NewMeetings: every project has a Meetings tab for notes, the date, who attended (team members and guests without an account) and labels such as Client, Demo or Retro. Tasks you add from a meeting remember where they came from.
- NewA workspace shows the meetings of all its projects together, filtered by project or label.
- NewStar projects to keep them together at the top of your dashboard, and drag projects into your own order.
- NewShow your projects as tiles or as a compact list on the dashboard and workspace pages.
- NewMark visitor feedback as read or unread, one by one or all at once. The Feedback tab's badge only counts what nobody has read yet, for the whole team.
- NewAdmins can delete visitor feedback from the Feedback tab, with Undo.
- ImprovedProject settings open in a window from the dashboard, workspace and team pages too, just like inside a project.
- ImprovedProject tabs have icons, and Archive and History sit under More.
- ImprovedLanes only show story points when their tasks have points.
- ImprovedTeam access is set with switches instead of checkboxes.
- ImprovedOpen boards and backlogs use less data while nothing happens, and still pick up your teammates' changes within seconds while you work.
- FixedUndoing the deletion of visitor feedback brought it back as an ordinary comment.
Read-only links, your way
Decide how long a read-only link works, exactly what the people you share it with see, and let them send you feedback.
- NewChoose how long a read-only link is valid: 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 1 month or until a date you pick. After that it stops working and visitors see that it has expired.
- NewPick which lanes the read-only link shows. Lanes you leave out don't appear at all, tasks included.
- NewChoose the details shown on shared tasks: type, priority, flag, blocked badge, points, due date, assignee and description.
- NewLet people with the read-only link leave feedback, no account needed: on a task, or in general from the Give feedback button. It shows up as a comment marked “via read-only link” (general feedback becomes a backlog item), and you get a notification.
- NewA Feedback tab collects everything visitors said about tasks that are still open, grouped by task. Filter it by visitor. The tab only shows while there is open feedback.
Plan sprints ahead
Queue as many sprints as you like on the Backlog tab, fill them with backlog items, and start the next one when you are ready.
- NewPlan a sprint: it appears above the backlog as its own section. Drag items in, or select items and choose Move to sprint.
- NewEach planned sprint shows its items and points, next to what your team usually finishes, so it is easy to see when one is too full.
- NewGive planned sprints a name, goal and dates, collapse the ones you are not working on, or delete them (their items stay in the backlog).
- ImprovedStarting a sprint starts the next planned one with exactly its items. The board shows which sprint is up next.
- ImprovedWhen a sprint ends, unfinished work can go straight into the next planned sprint.
- ImprovedAction menus have icons, colors and separators, and you can delete a backlog item from its menu (with Undo).
- FixedMessages and Undo buttons did not show on My tasks and Saved views.
A real backlog
The backlog has its own tab: one ranked list that can hold hundreds of items, so the board only shows work in progress.
- NewA Backlog tab with every planned item in one ranked list. The top is next up; drag items to change the order.
- NewAdd items on top of the backlog straight away, or paste a list to add many at once. Filter by text, type or person.
- NewSelect items to move them to the board, start a sprint with them, assign them, change their priority, or send them to the top or bottom.
- NewDrag a card from the board onto "Drop here to move to the backlog" to put it back on top of the backlog. The task window and bulk actions can do this too.
- ImprovedSprints are planned from the Backlog tab, and unfinished work goes back to the top of the backlog when a sprint ends.
- ImprovedAny project can use a backlog, with or without sprints: turn it on under Settings, Workflow.
A new public website
A homepage you can try before signing up, and pages that explain what AllScrum is and how it compares.
- NewA live demo board on the homepage: drag cards, add tasks with N, search with Ctrl K and try the quick actions, no account needed.
